One day our founder was surfing the web and came across videos of people in America skimboarding, he immediately wanted to try it so he searched everywhere on the internet for an Australian skimboard supplier but found nothing. For the next couple of months whenever he went surfing he kept

an eye out to see if he could find anyone with a skimboard and he asked in all his local surf shops. Eventually, he came to the conclusion that there simply wasn't anyone that supplied fiberglass or carbon fiber skimboards in Australia. He found online forums filled with frustrated Australians desperate to experience the extreme sport, some of the people on the forums had even resorted to ordering skimboards from the U.S for over $600 (shipping isn't cheap from halfway across the world). He saw that his country had a need and was determined to fill it.
